How silly it is to trust the Lord with our eternal salvation and refuse to trust Him with our life and love story. “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11) Proverbs 19:14 says, “House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.” We should be thinking, “How can we afford not to trust Him?” Yes, it’s hard to wait, especially if you have a desire to share life with someone. I know! However, God promises in His Word that if we delight (rest fully content) in Him, He will not only give us the desires He wants us to have, but will also fulfill them if we wait on the Lord, trust in Him and commit our way to Him (give up our own way) according to Psalm 37:3-5. God wants to give us His best. But we need to let Him!
